International Food, Drink, Food Processing and
Hospitality Trade Fair

21-24. February 2010.

Concurrent exhibition is UKBA international confectionery, bakery and gastronomic trade fair. On the four days of the exhibition you can get a hypotenuse picture of the full Hungarian food industry, food machine industry and gastronomic supply. You may face the domesctic market-leading firms' coloured supply on the two exhibitions.

WORLD COMPETITIONS

The FOODAPEST will be accompnied with such a prestigious  world  event  such  as Bocuse d'Or  international   cook  competition   which  is  also mentioned    as     the    cook    Olympics.
8  Hungarian  master  cooks  will   participate  in the  domestic  finals  in  February   21.  and  22.		The empasised patron      of    the   finals:
The  Hungarian  president of the  jury is Kálmán Kalla    master   cook,   and    the   international president  is  Charles Tjessem, who was  also a winner    of    Bocuse    d'Or    previously.

On 22 February 2010, the initiating father and still active participant of Bocuse d'Or, Paul BOCUSE will be the special guest of the competition and the related show.

In February 23. and 24. in the frameworks of UKBA there will be- for the first time in Hungary- a Confectioners Junior World Cup.

The contest held in Budapest for the very first time ever will be honoured to welcome world-famous French confectioner and the founder of the Confectioners' World Cup, Gabriel PAILLASSON.

VOCATIONAL PROGRAMS
Besides the world competitions the program is supplemented with a busy and active program series, vocational forums, workshops, for example SIAL d'Or International product competition's domestic judging, with the involving of the audience ongoing Wine and Market wine test, lectures about the domestic food market's competitiveness.
